Workplace Learning

The SCSA endorsed programme of Workplace Learning (ADWPL) is offered to General Pathway students who may wish to enter TAFE, apprenticeships, traineeships or the workforce in the future. Student are required to complete an application and interview process to determine their work readiness before being accepted into the programme

ADWPL provides an opportunity for a student to demonstrate, and develop increasing competence in, the core skills for work, often referred to as generic, transferable or employability skills. Students achieve WACE credit, industry recognition and links to further education training. 

Work placements are completed during examination weeks, holidays, and at the completion of the Year 11 academic year, if required.

All students are required to have a Unique Student Identifier (USI). Details on how to get a USI are on the School web page here.
