It has been a positive start to the netball season with the players displaying a ‘can do attitude’ as they improve their skills each week.
The team is made up of Year 5 girls from both Meadow Springs and Halls Head Campuses. There is a mix of experienced and new players who are readily grasping a teamwork perspective as they learn new rules and skills.
The girls are all coming to training with energy and a willingness to work on their netball ball skills and footwork. They have had some good goals too which has really boosted their confidence.
Their Coach, Tracey Lamond, has been impressed with their determination despite the odds to keep trying their best. Hopefully, with some more games under their belt their hard work will pay off.
