Congratulations to Halls Head Year 2 student, Aria Gupta, who recently participated in the WA Junior State Athletics Championships.
There were 56 clubs all over WA participating with 460 athletes over two days. Aria's results included winning the combined event championship Gold medal in her own age group, scoring a total of 489 points out of 500!
Her results included:
Gold in 300 meters
Silver in 60 meters Hurdles
Silver in 100 metre run
Bronze in long jump
Gold in shot put
Gold in Discus including breaking the discus championship record.
She ended the entire season with personal bests in all events! What an amazing result!
