Congratulations to Year 11 student, Laurence Hoolahan, and his team from the TS Comet Navy sailing team who recently came in first place in the Sailing Regatta Competition at Nedlands Yacht Club, in memory of the HMAS Perth.

With Laurence as the coxswain and two others as the Jib and Main Hand, the crew sailed ahead on the HMAS PERTH Course, Swan River, navigating 5 to 12 knot winds. The team handled their Quest 2699 Weapon with outstanding skill, never capsizing the boat and maintaining an exceptional performance throughout the race.

Despite the many rules and challenges of sail racing, TS Comet took everything in stride and achieved an incredible result. Thanks to weeks of dedicated training and a fantastic team effort, they secured first place in the Cadets Division.

Congratulations, Laurence, and well done to the entire team!
