Our Inter-House Cross Country was extra special this year as we commenced our Carnival with a ‘Walk for Reconciliation’ as a school community.

Reconciliation is about strengthening relationships between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and the wider community. Having our families join us for this walk was an incredible way to start our day.

Postponement due to storms and a construction site in the middle of our usual running track may have presented some obstacles, but neither deterred our students from getting out and trying their best.

We have had large numbers of students participating at Runner’s Club every Wednesday and Friday morning and this really shone through today as our races were completed with great pace and confidence. The results were as follows:

1st- Arnold

2nd- Ellis

3rd- Gordon

4th- Rose

5th- Barrett

6th- Jamieson

A huge thank you to our parent helpers and those who came to cheer our students on. We had a great morning filled with outstanding sportsmanship, comradery and plenty of smiles.
