Dear Parents and Carers,

Well, where did Term 1 go? It only feels like we have just got back after Christmas, and we are at the end of term already!

The students have had an amazing term and have worked very hard.  I want to say a big ‘thank you’ to students for working hard, demonstrating our values and working hard to work towards Advance Standing. We presented a record number of house points and awards across the school to our hard-working students. We are very proud of our students. Thank you, parents and carers for your support over the term. I love chatting to parents at the many events and it is lovely to hear so many positive comments about my staff and the things we do at school so thankyou! I hope you manage to have a blessed Easter and enjoy some rest, relaxation and some tech free time to get outside and enjoy life slowing down just a little bit.

I really want to recognise our amazing staff across the school. They work very hard for your children, and I want to thank them for their kindness, hard work and dedication to their jobs. They too, are looking forward to a well-deserved rest.  We have a few staff acknowledgements as staff finish acting positions, or short-term contracts and some lucky staff are going on long service leave.  We wish them all God’s blessing and our gratitude for their service to our school.

Staff leaving us:
Sarah Love – end of contract
Gillian Cooling – end of contract
Helen Jones – retiring after 17 years of dedicated service to our school

End of Acting Position
Mrs Kath Farmer – thank you for your outstanding work as as Acting Head of Year.  Mrs Vaughan will return from maternity leave next term.

Long Service Leave
Karen Watts
Kara McShane
Adam Barber
Rosalba Williamson

In closing for Term 1, I want to wish you a blessed Easter.  May this Easter bring you and your family peace and joy. As we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus, let’s remember the power of love, forgiveness, and new beginnings. Wishing you a wonderful Easter filled with love.

God bless,

Tracey Gray
