Dear Students, Parents, and Guardians,

As we approach an important time in the academic year, I want to take a moment to wish our Year 12 students the very best in their upcoming ATAR Mock Exams. You've put in the hard work, shown dedication, and persevered to reach this point, and we believe in your ability to shine. Remember, it's not just about the destination—it's also about the journey and the personal growth you've experienced along the way.

The Semester 2 Mock Examination schedule has been sent to students and is also available in the documents section of SEQTA. We know that exam time can be stressful, so we encourage students to stay organised and follow their normal school routines. Here are five simple tips to help with preparation:

  1. Stay organised: Create a study schedule and prioritise your time effectively.
  2. Practice past papers: Familiarise yourself with the exam format and types of questions.
  3. Stay healthy: Get enough rest, eat well, and exercise to maintain both physical and mental well-being.
  4. Seek help when needed: Don’t hesitate to ask teachers or peers for assistance.
  5. Stay positive: Believe in yourself and your abilities—a positive mindset can make a significant difference.

Your personalised examination timetables will detail when and where each ATAR exam will be held. There are separate schedules for written and practical exams, and it’s important to bring these signed timetables to each exam. Additionally, if you’ve received confirmation of an Equitable Access Adjustment, please remember to bring this acknowledgment to both the Mock and ATAR exams.

We’re also looking forward to the Year 12 Presentation Evening on Wednesday, 16 October. All Year 12 students are required to attend, and full details will be provided in a letter given to students soon.

Kind regards
Anne Crock
