Halls Head Campus Opening Ceremony
Thursday 15 February 2018 marked a very special day for Frederick Irwin Anglican School, as the new Halls Head Campus was opened and blessed by Reverend Peter Laurence OAM, Chief Executive Office of the Anglican Schools Commission.
Guests from ASC Schools, the ASC Board, local Dioceses and the Frederick Irwin School Council joined together for the ceremony, sitting alongside foundation students from Years 3 to 6.
Two Year 6s led the service, and welcomed Mr Noah Clark (Head of Primary – Halls Head), Ms Kerry Robertson (Principal), Mr Geoff McLarty (Immediate Past Chair of Council), Mrs Judy Sparkes (Chair of Council), Reverend Julie Baker (Archdeacon of Bunbury), Father Noel (School Chaplain), Mrs Barbara Godwin OAM (ASC Board Member) and Reverend Peter Laurence OAM, who participated in the ceremony.
The service was a wonderful reflection of the original Meadow Springs Campus, and how the Halls Head Campus has evolved since its purchase in 2017, to become such a wonderful complementary campus for the Meadow Springs Campus through all the hard work of Frederick Irwin staff.
A video of the Ceremony will be available in the next few weeks.
