Well done to Year 12 student, Nina Mouton, who was recently awarded an ALCOA STEM Scholarship for high achieving STEM students in the Peel region.
The award was given to five girls from the Peel region, by the Zonta club of Peel.
Students from Year 11 and 12 were invited to apply and each of the five recipients received $1000, sponsored by Alcoa, to use towards their future studies. They had to submit an application outlining achievements in STEM, what their plans for the future are and also attach some references from their teachers.
