Family Picnic and Bush Dance

We are so excited to invite all of our students and their families to attend our annual Family Picnic and Bush Dance! 

This will be a whole school event for both Primary and Secondary School families and will be held on the Halls Head School oval. This year’s event will include a gold coin donation, with all money collected going to the Samoa School. 

Date: Friday 13 September 2024 
Time: 4.00pm (for 4.30pm start) to 7.00pm 
Location: Halls Head Campus Oval (28 Karon Vista, Halls Head) 

We are changing it up this year, having it on a Friday evening to celebrate the end of the week and making it a touch earlier so everyone can get there straight after school ends. Music will be provided by the Mucky Duck Bush Dance Band! This is also a great opportunity for families to chat with other families and members of the School Executive, plus Primary and Secondary staff. 

Food Trucks will include Hendo’s and Co for warm drinks and coffee and Sweets on the Run for delicious ice-creams, will be available on the evening for families. Plus the School Prefects will be running a sausage sizzle which will be available for $2.50 each. 

If you would like to order a sausage sizzle, please complete the online form below, by Monday 9 September 2024. Families are welcome to bring along their own picnic, plus picnic rugs and mosquito repellent. (Please note: alcohol is not permitted at functions on the School property when children are present.) Parking is available via Waxflower Vista, Halls Head, and our Grounds Team will advise where additional parking may be found if overflow occurs.
